Monday Market Closing Bell Update

The Sensex gained 294.71 points or 0.87 percent at 34,300.47 and the Nifty rose 84.80 points or 0.81 % to closes above 10,539.80.The market was supported by buying in banking, auto, pharma, metal and realty stocks. However, the sectoral index showed weakness in IT and PSU Bank.Earlier, the Sensex jumped by 198 points to 34,203 points. The Nifty rose 63 points to 10,518 points.
