Sensex tanks over 300 points:
BSE Sensex is trading at 27,172 down 346 points, while NSE
Nifty is trading at 8,457 down 69 points. Asian markets saw a mixed start as
pessimism still prevailed with US $ strength seeing currency weakness hit
sentiment. This after the Dow Jones hit new all time highs as rise in bond
yields saw banks outperform on the back of rising treasury profits. Metals also
continued to see huge buying as expectations of rise in capex spending in the
US triggered demand for base metals. Investors are not sure if the Fed
would rates in December.
