Sensex, Nifty rally in early trade:
BSE Sensex is trading at 27,539 up 80 points, while NSE
Nifty is trading at 8,519 up 22 points. Asian markets opened in the green for a
second day as overnight Dow Jones scaled 370 points for a monster short
covering rally. This as fresh buying from oversold levels saw a bounce in
indices as most felt the selling was overdone. With most hedges till tomorrow
expect knee jerk reaction either way as globally maximum options outstanding
indicate 2 sided movements to get exaggerated after
results.

Rupee opens at 66.72 :
The Indian rupee closed lower by three paise at 66.73/$. The
local unit hit a high of 66.87 and a low of 66.88 today.
