The Sensex was up 45.12 points or 0.2 percent at 25330.49, and the Nifty was 10.65 points or 0.1 percent at 7714.90.
About 1348 shares have advanced, 1254 shares declined, and 161 shares are unchanged.
BHEL, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Steel, M&M and Hindalo were top gainers while Dr Reddy’s, ITC, Adani Ports, HUL and Wipro were losers in the Sensex.
