• China’s Shanghai Composite was up 0.18 percent or 3.69 points at 2,042.04.
• Hong Kong’s Hang Seng was flat at 23,250.94.
• Japan’s Nikkei shed 0.25 percent or 38.47 points at 15,178.
• Singapore’s Straits Times rose 0.44 percent or 14.50 points at 3,284.
• South Korea’s Seoul Composite declined 0.62 percent or 12.43 points at 1,990.41.
• Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted was flat at 9,570.83.
