• Japan’s Nikkei 225 Average gained 133.87 points or 0.93 percent to 14,471.66
• China’s Shanghai Composite fell 2.90 points or 0.14 percent to 2,018.38, at 8:05 hours IST.
• Singapore’s Straits Times climbed 8.24 points or 0.25 percent to 3,273.90
• Taiwan Weighted was up 27.29 points or 0.30 percent to 8,996.92.
• South Korea’s Seoul Composite fell 0.15 point to 2,015.44.
