Stock markets edged higher today tracking positive Asian markets and optimism over the recent earnings.

The Sensex was up 32 points at 21,321 while Nifty added 11 points to 6,332. IT stocks edged higher after HCL Tech announced strong quarterly results. HCL Tech was up 2.9 per cent at Rs.s. 1,368. The shares hit an all-time high of Rs.s. 1,377 today. Wipro was up 0.4 per cent while TCS and Infosys were trading slightly higher. TCS will announce its results later in the day.
