The stock hit a high of Rs 648.55 and a low of Rs 575 so far during the day. The stock had a 52-week high of Rs 1945.85 on 5 May 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 404 on 23 January 2009.
The stock is up 12% from a recent low of Rs 521.65 on 26 March 2009. The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 30 March 2009, rising 37.94% as compared to the Sensex's 7.61% rise.
It had also outperformed the market in the past one quarter, rising 14.14% as compared to the Sensex's fall of 1.52%.
Tata Motors November 2013 futures were at 380, at a premium over spot closing of 377.50.
Tata Steel November 2013 futures were at 362.80, at a premium over spot closing of 360.75.State Bank of India November 2013 futures were at 1714.50, at a premium over spot closing of 1700.
In the spot market, the CNX Nifty lost 61.95 points or 1.01% to 6,078.80, its lowest closing level since 10 October 2013.The November 2013 derivatives contracts expire on 28 November 2013.
